I have been the chair of the PSA Standard Setting Group for a number of years and continue to be the deputy chair of the PSA Assessment board, helping to develop and set the standard for this important national assessment. More recently I have joined the Item Development Group for the Medical Licensing Assessment – Applied Knowledge Test where I represent CPT and older peoples medicine. Clinically I specialise in hypertension management where I run a Complex hypertension clinic and have been working with academic foundation trainees to look at the impact of prescribing inappropriate medicines and chronotherapeutic adjustment of anti-hypertensive medication in the area of frailty and falls.
